Textiles made from hemp are stronger, more absorbent, more durable, and more insulating than those made from cotton. Furthermore, they don't stretch out of shape. Additionally, hemp fabrics are breathable, naturally anti-bacterial, and hypoallergenic, just like bamboo and flax fabrics.
Hemp is very low in water requirements and does not require fertilizers for production. A single plant can be harvested up to three times a year due to its fast growth. Because of this, it is a valuable resource.
